A Birthday Celebration Ruined We had high hopes for KALP as we gathered a group of 16, including excited children, to celebrate one of the Mom's birthday. Unfortunately, the evening took a drastic turn due to the appalling behavior of the staff towards our young ones. The restaurant's ambiance and decor were initially promising, creating a suitable atmosphere for a celebratory dinner, and considering it for future corporate and family events. However, our excitement quickly dissipated as the staff's attitude towards the children became increasingly evident. From the moment we arrived, there was an underlying air of impatience and annoyance with the kids moving around post dinner. The wait staff were direct enough and asked us to leave if we were done with dinner as they found the kids to be a disturbance. This was not once but 3-4 times, leaving a sense of unwelcome and disregard for our presence. It's disheartening to witness such a blatant lack of hospitality, especially in an establishment that should prioritize customer satisfaction. The food, while decent, couldn't compensate for the unpleasant experience. The evening, meant to be filled with joy and laughter, was overshadowed by the staff's hostile demeanor. It's a shame that such a special occasion was ruined by individuals who seemed incapable of basic courtesy towards children. We sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue promptly. A restaurant should be a place where families can enjoy quality time together without feeling unwelcome or judged. Until then, we would strongly advise others with children to reconsider dining at KALP.
