I visited Kalp twice recently, once with a group of 4 and again with a larger group of 20 yesterday. While my first experience was pleasant, the second visit left much to be desired. **First Experience:** During my initial visit, I found the service to be prompt and the overall dining experience enjoyable. Both the food and beverages exceeded my expectations, with a good variety and quality offered. The ambiance was inviting, and our group of 4 left satisfied with our experience. **Second Experience:** However, my second visit with a larger group of 20 was disappointing. Despite the reservation, there was a noticeable deterioration in service. The food preparation took an unreasonably long time, and when it arrived, it was mediocre at best. The quality did not match our previous visit, leaving us underwhelmed and dissatisfied. **Beverage Disappointment:** The biggest letdown was the beverages. While we expected flavorful cocktails, they resembled mocktails with little to no alcohol content. This discrepancy between expectation and reality was disappointing and impacted our overall experience negatively. **Conclusion:** In conclusion, while my first experience at Kalp was satisfactory, the second visit failed to meet expectations. The decline in service quality and the disappointing food and beverage offerings were disappointing, especially considering the size of our group. Overall if you are going in a small group on a weekday, it's a decent place to hang out. However if you are going with a large group or on Fridays/weekends, think twice and search for another place. Staff at Kalp is not equipped and trained to handle crowds effectively.
