I recently went to Kalp with a group of 14-15 people for a corporate party. Before arriving, we were assured that the hotel would provide a corporate discount on food. Which was a major factor for choosing this venue apart from drinks. However when it came time to finalize the billing, the promised discount was completely denied. This was incredibly frustrating, as we had specifically discussed the discount. To make matters worse the food pricing was exorbitantly high compared to what was expected.even local hotels in the area offers at least 10% discount on food, yet Kalp didn't extend any such courtesy. We ended up with a bill of around 26k , which was for too steep for what we received. The lack of transparency and follow - through on their promise left a sour note on our experience.its disappointing that a hotel that seems to be pride itself on service could't uphold even basic agreements. I would not recommend this hotel for a group unless they are more transparent with their pricing and discounts.....
