Hannibal Lecter

If you're only looking for a cozy ambience and food that "looks" good, then yes this would be worth a visit. But if you want food that actually tastes as good as it looks, you might want to look elsewhere. My initial impression was that the pasta was plated really well and smelled amazing. But the disappointment you feel on the first bite kills all the hype. The "mixed sauce/pink sauce" or Rolling Crunchy's pasta as they call it was nothing short of a dumpster fire. The sauce is off the mark on all counts : sure it's cheesy, but has no flavor at all, except being a tad too sweet. (Do they know herbs and seasonings exist?). What was supposed to be a pair of buttered garlic bread slices of sourdough bread felt like floppy soggy pieces of recycled dough. The only redeemable quality was that the pasta was cooked Al-dente. Even the pasta and lasagna at La Pino'z (which is supposedly a commercial food chain) is much better than this. The Belgian Chocolate shake is just a basic chocolate shake. Nothing Belgian about it, same old Hershey's syrup and same old chocolate chips. I've had better shakes at juice bars. A total disappointment, with aesthetics and ambience being the sole saviour.
